Inspiration Essay-My Dad
Alek M. P.1-2

My dad is the big part of my life because of the inspiration he give me everyday, and he is the biggest inspiration in my life. My dad believes in me, teaches me new and extraordinary things, and pushes me so I can get better and stronger in academics and sports. My dad has always been here for me whether I have to go to baseball practice or if I need assist with homework, he will always assist me no matter what it is I have to do. My father always pushes me and pushes me until I get better, and I know he will keep pushing me until I reach my full potential. But, one thing that inspires me the most about my dad is he goes to work over 45 hours a week and still has time to spend with us, and that inspires me to work as hard as my dad.

My dad has always wanted me to play baseball, but there was a time that I didn’t like baseball and didn’t want to have anything to do with the sport or even mention the name of the sport, but I was six at the time. My dad wanted me to play baseball so bad he would take time from his day to take me out every Friday to practice until I got better and better and started to like baseball. Thanks to my dad I’m playing baseball and having an enjoyable time while playing. To think if my dad gave up on me and decided not to take me outside every Friday, I wouldn’t be playing Triple A and I wouldn’t have the memories I have today that I got from playing baseball for over five years.

My father's hysterical comedy and jokes are probably the most hilarious jokes known to man, like once when he told a joke about his grandfather almost hitting a biker of a rode and into a rose bush. He said that it was a cold night in Oklahoma and my dad and my great grandfather (who is dead) went out for a ride in my great grandfathers RV. So, they went out on the most deserted rode which was a desert rode. They were driving pretty fast and my dad was looking out one of the RV’s windows, my great grandfather swerved left and the next thing my dad knew a biker was on the ground shaking his fist, about one foot away from a rose bush. All my jokes and comedy “acts” come from my dads sense of humor. My dad had once inspired me to become a comedian when I was seven because of how hysterical he is.

My dad pushes me in just about everything, from academics to sports. My father pushes me so I can reach my full potential. My dad has always pushed me in baseball every since I was six because he wants me to play high school and college baseball just like he did. My father always tells me stories of his high school and college league, like once when he had started high school baseball and he was a rookie. It was when him and his friend tried out and only one of them made the high school team, my dad. My dads friend was raged that my dad made it and he didn’t, so they stopped being friends. When he pushes me to do something he tries to make sure I do it right and if I do it wrong he makes me do 20 push ups or sometimes an increased amount, because he wants me get stronger and better at things.

If it wasn’t for my dad I wouldn’t be playing triple A baseball right now because he was the one who got me a tryout, and now I’m playing for the Denver Bears who were third place last year. If my dad didn’t email all the triple A coaches to get me a tryout I wouldn’t be playing for the bears and I would have to play with 13 years olds, who constantly pick on me. My dad is the reason I’m playing triple A, which is why I need to thank him.

As, you can see, my dad is the biggest inspiration in my life. He has always been there for me and will continue to be my biggest inspiration. He loves me cares for me and is always there. He also pushes me, believes in me, and never give up on me. Which is why he is the biggest inspiration in my life. I cherish every moment I have with him and take those moments as inspiration.
